Right off the bat you should know this book is hilarious, which is always a good thing whenever you’re trying to talk about bullying and other tough issues with middle grades kids. Marley is so awkward he’s funny, which makes his scenes with Emily (whenever he’s near her he accidentally speaks Klingon) adorable instead of cringe-worthy.
