Starcrossed (Starcrossed, #1)

Starcrossed (Starcrossed, #1) - Josephine Angelini I was extremely excited for this fantastical story with a Greek mythology connection. After 50%, I finally decided to give up because I was not connecting with Helen, her plight, her relationship with Lucas, the . Nothing. It took forever for the book to actually grab me, and when it did, it didn’t last. Honestly, I can’t put my finger on why I decided to give up on Starcrossed, other than I was bored and uninterested. That being said, I really adored Giggles, and enjoyed the mythology woven into the story. Many people loved this book (Goodreads 4.18 rating) so please make sure you give it a shot if it sounds interesting to you! As sad as it is to admit, the few YA fantasy books I’ve read with Greek mythology ties have not been big hits with me. I love Greek Mythology and this makes me sad. :(
